12 months of my 2014 were AMAZING!

January 2014

Boom! US visa approved with 10 years validity. In 2013, I already set my mind that I will be going for vacation in the US by 2014. I learned that, once you set your mind to achieve your goals, it will happen, as long as you don't procrastinate.

Joined the Dubai Marathon and finished the 10k run.

I admit, I was tired walking, we didn't see that much. Though it reminds of Philippines. They have clear water just like in Palawan.

Bought this motorcycle and made it as tricycle for a little business. As the saying goes "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."

Helped someone I don't know.

Signed up for Dubai Marathon 2015

Last week, I posted in my Instagram that I will be joining the 2015 Dubai Marathon.  My goal for 2015 is to loss some weight and to tone my muscles.  That's why yesterday, I started preparing my infused water.  Wish me luck :)

I had a fruitful day today.

  1. I woke up at 6am today and change my bedding set and put the dirty sets in the washing machine.
  2. At around 7:30am, I went to the exchange to send money and used my folding bike as an exercise (win-win situation).
  3. Called up my family to chit-chat for awhile.
  4. After the chit-chat, went to the gym for 30 minutes.
  5. Went back home to shower.
  6. Check the stocks online, chat a little bit with friends in Facebook.
  7. Went out again to buy some fruits for my infused water.
  8. 11:05am waited for the company bus to go to work.

Abra experience

An abra (Arabicعبرة‎ abra) is a traditional boat made of wood.  See more (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abra_(boat)

After more than a decade in Dubai, I finally got a chance to ride in their traditional Abra that goes back and forth from Bur Dubai to Deira for only 1 Dirham.

Santa Baby (in hanging-position-version)

Tonight, I decided to record myself playing guitar and piano with my own rendition of Santa Baby.  Unfortunately these are quick version as Instagram allows 15 seconds for each video.  #JustHavingFun

Folding bike enthusiast.

I am so ready to hit the road this weekend.  I made sure that I have the front light, reflector light at the back and in my back pack. Helmet perfectly fit.  Keep safe everyone!

I want to ride my Bicycle.

Yehey!  I finally got myself this folding bicycle.

3 important things happened to me when I sold my car in 2012;

I was able to save more money;
Help the environment; and
Stay fit and healthy.

Now that I have this bicycle, it's time to commute with my bike via public transport and ride-around the parks in the city.

I will posting more pictures with my bike and I :)
