Baybayin is the defunct Filipino script.

Image
Yes.  You read it right, it is defunct.  Honestly, it was not taught during my grade school to college (1982 to 1996).  Until I met a friend who has a tattoo in baybayin.  I asked her about it and she told me the story.  I was like "duh".  How come I haven't heard of it.  Anyways, I don't want to blame the education system, I guess I just didn't care at all.
After a day of getting more information on this, I found out that we have organization in the Philippines, that are helping to raise awareness on this Filipino Script.  Mabuhay po kayo!
After all the readings in the internet and watching documentary about this script.  I decided to give it try.
I wrote in baybayin the "Lupang Hinirang", the Philippine National Anthem.

I am hoping to master this script and able to write it without "kodigo".
Here is the documentary.

Gradient art from my toaster.  I therefore conclude that number 5, 6 and 7 are not edible.  I like number 3.

#TBT - Live, Love and Rock & Roll

Those were the days.   The days when I was young and naive.   Until one day, I woke up and realized that the market for the Rock Music in Manila was fairly soft at the time.  Instead, I climbed the corporate ladder.

Sometimes after a rough week, it is nice to hang out with friends and chill a little.  Rax, Mitzi and I decided to have a good laugh at the Makati Filipino comedy bar in Aseana Hotel in Dubai.

And this is what happened...  the rockstar-wanna-be started singing LOL

The rest are history LOL!

Facebook's 10th year Anniversary.

Image
In a 2005 interview, then 21-year-old Mark Zuckerberg was asked about the future of Facebook, but struggled to see how it could get any bigger.

"There doesn't necessarily have to be more," he said.

"There is a level of service that we could provide when we were just at Harvard that we can't provide for all the colleges, and there's a level of service that we can provide when we're a college network that we wouldn't be able to provide if we went to other types of things."

Oh, to be young and unaware that you're about to be a billionaire.

Gift from Bro. Bo Sanchez

It may be late, but this is the best gift that I received this Christmas.  I am planning to read this book on my flight to US on March 2014.
