1. For my retirement; I know, I know, I am too old to think about this or even start about this. But it's never too late to begin with. Nobody's going to stop me now, I will do this NOW.
2. For traveling/pleasure; I never really travel. I always believe that, I don't want to be a stranger in my own country (Philippines). So I travel more in my homeland. But this time, I want to go to other countries. I want to see USA first. Then, Europe tour. Asian Tour, so on, so forth *crossing fingers*
3. For emergency. This is for myself and for my family. Of course, I want their safety, but we'll never know when they need it or we need it.
Couple of weeks ago, i was dating umbraco, then sitefinity and now it's joomla. all i can say is, I am falling in love with joomla! sitefinity, you can be my number 2. And umbraco, I am sorry, but i have to let you go.
Tumblr will be down next week on 6th October 2012. Mashable posted the news in advance to warn all the users ahead of time. 2 thumbs up! The entire site will be down for maintenance and it will be inaccessible. It will be available over the next several hours. I wonder now, what's my password in tumblr :)
Today, I turned 37 years old. This is so far the unforgettable birthday I ever had. MA from US came to Dubai, to celebrate this special day and had a surprise birthday celebration when Mitzi, Rax, Girlie & Celine came over. I never really had a surprise birthday in my life and today will be remember forever. Thanks to you guys.
Also, to my Mom & Dad, thanks for bringing me to life and for the good looks :)
I was cleaning up my closet and found these 3 audio CDs and 1 DVD of his highness Bob Marley.
I remember, someone ask me if I like reggae. I showed him these CDs and said "yah man, wanna jammin'."
So, I watched the DVD once again and there were something that I want to quote from his wife Rita, "Bob, is a rebel and he fought using his music. His M-16 is his guitar." "My music will go on forever. Maybe it's a fool say that, but when me know facts, me can say facts. My music will go on forever."
iPhone 5 is the topic in town and in the web. Last Wednesday, Apple unveiled the new iPhone 5 that support 4G wireless technology or Long Term Evolution (LTE). Now, telephone companies are forced to maintain 2G, 3G and 4G simultaneously to support the non-tech savvy customers :)
In 5 to 6 years from now, 3G is target for shutting down (gradually).
So, for 3G customers, you'll feel some bump on the services while 4G will have a network congestion issues that they have to seriously look forward before everybody get's into 4G.
I feel like to capture this screen and blog about it. Most of the Facebook users that I know have their pictures in both the cover and profile, which I find too much. It's sated. Anyways, it's your Facebook account, so knock yourself out :)
There are so many things that you can try to troubleshoot your PC/Computer performance. I assume that you have Windows 7. If you have the old version of Windows, you can search the how-to for Windows XP & Vista performance. For the end-user's points-of-view, first try the Performance Troubleshooter. This can automatically find, fix problems and check issues that slow down the computer's performance. To open the performance troubleshooter: 1. Click - Start button; 2. Click - Control Panel; 3. In the search box, type Troubleshooter; 4. Click - Troubleshooting; and 5. Under System and Security, click Check for Performance Issues.
Ever since I started using blackberry, I've became more active in social media. (I didn't use addictive, because I am still not :).
One of my favorite services in blackberry is, the BBM or blackberry messaging. BBM is very useful as this gives me the ability to contact family & friends for free and unlimited (depending on your provider's social media package).
Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo Messenger and GoogleTalk, connects me instantly right in my pocket and in my palm. If only, I have a budget for iPhone and Galaxy S3, I would like to have them all and check their performances :)
Meantime, enjoy life!

I just newly joined pinterest.comand so far it is the same as any other social network, I have to invest my time with it (which is worthy). Than having a coffee and talking about somebody else' business :)
The advantage of pinterest and any other social media is, it showcases your online presence or your business in a low cost.
Pinterest combines the 2 elements in social media.
Some people thought that Dubai is a country. Actually it is a city and the country name is United Arab Emirates. The capital city is Abu Dhabi, and to know more about it, start googling now.
I was invited to proxy a friend and experience the top view at the tallest building. I immediately grab the opportunity and grab my nikon D60 to capture the moment. I took so many pictures that day, but the 2 pictures are my favorite.
What is Earth Hour? Earth hour is a global movement, that brings together individuals, colleagues, communities and people from across the world, who celebrate a commitment to the planet by switching off lights for one designated hour. Last year's Earth Hour took place in 5251 cities in 135 countries across all seven continents, joined by 1.8 billion people. Hope that this year would be even bigger! Let us save the Mother Earth!
I've just updated my about me page. Go click it :)
Recently, I've created my account in LinkedIn. My colleagues has been asking me about it, until I landed in the site and realizes, to try it out. It is a good website. Especially for people who wants to get connected professionally and look for a decent job.
The other subscription I did was. Wait, I just realizes that I was subscribed in Scribd since 2009. I hope it is not too late for me :). Today, I uploaded my very first published tutorial in Scribd. I called it published because, it is officially published in my Scribd account.
Since I am learning CSS this week, I've been busy with it. I will try to blog as much as I can, just to keep this site updated. Hope you understand that I am not doing any CSS tutorial, because making the tutorial takes time and I have to meet some deadline that I set this year. I've made a link for you guys to start with the XHTML. The link is on top of the page, just click it to download the PDF file.
It was a refreshed/recalled for me as I already know the HTML coding a long time ago. Two thumbs up to Bucky from http://www.thenewbostong.org/, he nailed it. More power to him and more tutorial from him. If you want to know what I am saying, visit his website and checkout his tutorial and watch/listen how he explain things in a layman's term.
Honestly, It took me some time to finished the online tutorial for XHTML (only), the reason being was, while I was listening/watching the tutorial, I am typing down notes and realizes, that the notes I have could be useful to share with others.
I am done with the PDF document and ready to upload in a few hours. Meantime, I am back to work.
That's me. I took that picture today to reveal the gears I have at home. Also, I am going to submit this picture to "365 Photography Club/Contest for 2012" by Michael. For more information here's the link.

I'm not a smoker)post-it (for reminder). I don't like using the e-post it, cause I still end up missing out something. So there it goes, what are your gears?
I remember when I was a kid, my parents made us believe that Santa Claus was the one giving gifts in our empty-hanged-cleaned-beautiful-socks in the plastic-made christmas tree.
The gift was nicely wrapped with ribbons and cards. I would say, they spent time wrapping it and there I was, opening the gift in 10 seconds with my tiny hands.
When I turned teen, there were no more Santa Claus, but rather they give cash as a gift. So, it will be easier to buy the things I like.
After college, entering the world of young professionals, I was the one, wrapping the gifts for my family. It's the other-way-around. Buying gifts, thinking what to give and wrapping it up. But seeing them, opening those gifts with the smile, enthusiasm & giggling were really something, something worth watching.
Now that I am middle-age, far from home, far from family and no relatives/family in Dubai. But still, I got a gift that it doesn't need a gift-wrap, ribbons or cards. It is all online and …
My personal project starts now :) Actually, it was yesterday that I started reading about Web Development. Yes, you read it right, Web Development. The question that pops up in my head was, "How can I become a Web Developer or Programmer?" So then, I came up making my personal project.
The learning stage for this project will be for the first quarter of the year. Since, I already have a background in HTML coding, I will have to continue learning for the Q1.
I must admit, I wasn't that productive last year. Up's and down's came back and forth, and I am happy to say, that I handle it nicely. Though, from August to December of last year, all things happened for a reason. It was magical and I am hoping that it will continue this year, following year and for the rest of my journey.
For some reason, I will not list down my new years resolution. I would rather keep it one-day-at-a-time basis. Don't make me wrong, I've made goals to work on this year. Again, I will not list them down yet. You'll see the updates in this blog as I go through on my project. I guess it means, that I will be more active blogging this year. Wish me luck :)
So again, Happy New Year everyone! May we all have the best of luck for another 12 months of our lives.
